Final Silent Video #3 - Surrounded
I wanted to keep that same eerie sense that the trees are moving and can sneak up and grab you at any moment. These shots were taken on March 2, 2008 approximately between 3pm to 6pm.Final Silent Video #2 - Simon Says...
The main focus was to point out all the words and signs that surround us, telling us what to do. We don't even notice anymore how we're constantly surrounded by rules and regulations that we follow without even thinking twice. These shots were taken on March 2, 2008 approximately between 2pm and 4pm.

Rough Cut #5 - A Splash of Color
Rough Cut #4 - One Way
I noticed that the majority of street signs used arrows to show people where to go and sometimes their options of which lane to be in to go in a specific direction. I experimented with manipulating the pictures of the arrows and to create movement. These arrow shots were taken on March 2, 2008 approximately between 3pm and 4pm in Fox Point, WI.
Rough Cut #3 - The Trees are Alive!
Rough Cut #2 - Grabbing Trees
One of the first things I noticed on my walk was how eerie trees can look. I loved the distortion and endless variety of the shapes of their branches. Some were so twisted looking that they looked like they could jump out and grab you. These shots were taken on March 2, 2008 approximately between 3pm to 5:30pm in Fox Point, WI.

Rough Cut #1 - YIELD

When I was out on my walk, everywhere I looked, I saw signs that were telling us what to do, where to go, what not to do, etc. I never noticed this before, but it caught my attention since I was purposely looking for something that I see everyday, yet just ignored. These stills were collected March 2, 2008 approximately between 2pm and 4pm in the area of Fox Point, WI.
Image Capturing Strategies
One of my image strategies was to capture both far away shots and close up shots of trees and their branches. I tried to mainly focus on the peculiar shapes and distortions of the branches.
My second drift strategy was to focus on streets signs and the words on the signs. I noticed as I was walking around that signs are everywhere and that we are constantly surrounded by rules and restrictions.
Drift 2 Strategy
For my second drift strategy, I drew a circle on a map in the Fox Point area and attempted to go down all the streets in that circle.
